The night sky was lit in the city below, as Kurts had left Duel Academy to do a little search around the world to see the situation for himself. With his dark wings spread across the skies, Kurts flew over what was supposed to be London, England...but now turned into a field called 'Dark City'. The buildings looked plain as he looked down to the city below. Not many people were to be seen on the city streets below, as Kurts flew down into the city to take a look for himself.
"Humph. As I expected....I dont think any humans couldve survived the change of the world....especually if they also changed into monsters themselves." Kurts says as he folded his wings over his chest, as he walked down into the 'Dark City'.

"Its not good to be going off on your own Kurts....You know better than that."
A familiar voice calls to him as Mahado was following close behind. He had followed Kurts from afar, as he was trying to make sure that nothing bad happens to his dragon friend. "Its going to be pretty dangerous out here you know. I heard that the 'Dark City' has dangerous monsters....but its protected by hero's called 'Destiny Heros'...I think you might've heard about them...."

Kurts' ears perked up as he turned to see that Mahado had followed him...not that he really mind though. He knew that it was going to be dangerous out in the world, but he didnt want to involve Mahado in any of it, as he just walked on ahead.
"You know...You shouldve stayed behind Mahado. This place is dangerous as you say, so you should remain back at Duel Academy." Kurts says as he continued to walk down into the streets of 'Dark City'. The wind blew some pieces of paper and trash around the empty streets, as they walked. Kurts got a good look around the city, as it was a bit too quiet for his taste....as if there was something there....watching them intently. "....."

"I can handle myself fine Kurts. Its you I need to keep an eye on." Mahado says as he followed Kurts, as he too looked around the area. It was too quiet as from what he suspected...He was wondering where all the people in the city were at the moment, as he expected to see if there were any humans still around in the world.
"This is totally strange...and creepy. I thought there would be people around, but...I dont sence any humans around in the city." Mahado says as he held his staff tightly in his hand, as he was ready to use it in any moment. He was a bit jumpy at the moment, as he was ready to attack anything that would move.

"As I said...I dont think any humans had survived when the world murged. Most of them probably changed into monsters....or died." Kurts says as he just kept his head forward. He knew that there would be monsters around, but he had to keep himself at the ready from any monsters who would attack.
"We have to make sure we be ready to do anything to protect ourselves. I feel as though that someone is watching...." Kurts says as he looked around the area a bit more.

"True..." Mahado said as he held onto his staff tightly. "We cant take any chances here."
The Dark City was completely silent for the time being, as a errie wind blew through the empty streets as they walked. Mahado was a bit...uneasy at the moment, as he kept his eyes scanning the area. Any moments hesitation might be the end of them....and he didnt want to go down that easily.
They continue down the street, as a loud crash was heard far off in the distance. Mahado jumped at the noise as he held his staff outward. "W-What was that?!"

Kurts' ears twitched to the noise in the far off distance, as he felt as though something big was going on. He didnt have time to waist, as he streached out his wings and took flight without any word to Mahado. He had to check things out for himself....and he didnt want Mahado to get himself involved in anything that might be too difficult for the still-in-trainning magician.
Kurts came over into the site where the crash came, as he sees that there were two childeren being chased down by a group of monsters, as they were part of the 'Dark World' army. The childeren were a shock to Kurts the most....as they were changed as Red-Eyes Black Dragons. "No way Im not letting those bastards hurt my kind!" Kurts says as he pulled out his sword and flew down below.

Mahado sees Kurts fly off quickly, that he hesitated a bit. "Kurts! Wait up!" Mahado says as he flies way behind. Mahado flet as though that he was left behind for his own sake, but he wanted to help out as much as he could, as he sees what was going on down below.
"What the? Those kids....are they Red-Eyes?" Mahado blinked at the two childeren who were running from a group of 'Dark World' monsters. He then sees that Kurts drew out his sword and headed right into the fray. "Kurts! Are you crazy!" He yelled out as he flew right behind him and had his staff at the ready, just incase he was needed.
