Yugi soon found a man in the Airport holding out a sign with his name on it. He headed toward the man who said "So you are Yugi Motou? Please give me your things" Yugi did so and the man led him to a car. Yugi entered the passenger seat of the car.
Next thing he knew, Yugi was at the Pharaoh's lost tomb. The Driver stayed there as Yugi entered the area. He managed to complete the obstacles and made his way to where he had last met Atem.
His heartbeats beated faster each step Yugi made, as he descended down the stairs, there was only one thing on his mind, to get Atem back...
Yugi recalled his memories of ten years ago and managed to get through the traps again, as he did when he had last met Atem. "Atem... here I come!" Yugi shouted into the tomb as he ran as fast as he could past the bridge... Monsters appeared on either side of Yugi.... he wasn't scared one bit as he finally reached the end of the bridge...
Yugi found the button which would open the door to the Underworld. Raising his hand to press it, Yugi started to fear that he could never get Atem back from the underworld, when the world needed him most...
Walking into the now opened room, Yugi looked ahead and suddenly noticed a Duel Arena... it was surrounded by... Yugi's Duel Monsters!
A mysterious figure was on the opposing side of the Arena... it looked similar to that of Yugi! "Partner?" Yugi questioned the figure. The figure was indeed Atem who answered "Yes, Pal... it is me"
Running up to the Pharaoh, Yugi was suddenly bocked by an invisible barrier. "Pal, you're gonna have to duel me..."
Suddenly shocked by this message, Yugi asked him "B-But why?" the Pharaoh answered "The only way to bring me back, is to do the same thing you did to seal me...
Yugi recalled that last thing he had done with Atem... he had defeated him in a duel...

As Atem opened his eyes, he noticed that he was in a familiar place... the maze of questions. "I wonder if everything is solved now..." Atem wondered as he opened a door next to him, it held the word 'Atem' "It seems that this is the door which contains my name!" However, as Atem proceeded to the next door, he noticed another blank door. "And this is probably one of the doors in which my new questions lie in.
Happy to be together again, Yugi ascended up the stairs to find that the Egyptian Man had disappeared... "Hello? Are you there? Where..." Yugi couldn't finish his sentence as a Vorse Raider started to attack him. Screaming, Yugi managed to duck from it's axe slash. It cut a few of Yugi's hairs. Immediately, the Millenium Puzzle which had been on Atem and transferred onto Yugi glowed. "YUGIOH!!!" Yugi shouted as the radio in the car played the Yu-Gi-Oh! Theme Song and Yugi did the necessary poses to turn into Atem.
^^
"Be Gone! I banish you to the Shadow Realm Monster!" Atem shouted as he placed Curse Of Dragon onto Yugi's Duel Disk. "Attack!" The Curse Of Dragon did so and was met with another Axe Slash but the Dragon was uneffected and instead, the Vorse Raider was destroyed. "I call you back!" Atem commanded the Dragon, it obeyed and came back into the card.
"So, the things in Ancient Egypt really are happening now..." Atem said to himself. Now, Yugi was Yugi again as he walked back to the Airport. It took eight hours just walking to the airport... However, instead of seeing a crowd, the Airport was deserted... and there was a whole group of Duel Monsters. "Whoah... that's a lot of monsters, I didn't know it would spread this far!" Yugi said, trying to communicate with Atem. It succeeded, and a ghost of Atem appeared next to Yugi replying "Neither did I... looks like we've got no other choice..."
"We've gotta steal a plane!"
"And we'll just place the money into the airplane for the tickets." Yugi once again changed personalities into Atem. Walking quietly and stealthily, Atem made it into the landing zone where he spotted a small plane. Communicating with Yugi, Atem whispered "Yugi, there, that should be good!" He then sneaked into the open door of the plane and got into the pilot seat. Taking off was hard, the monsters had caught the plane, but with enough acceleration, Atem managed to take off. Only knowing the basic controls, Atem had to place his trust completely on Autopilot.
As he sat down in a passenger seat, he saw a Red Eyes Black Dragon Behind him... "What the hell?!" Atem exclaimed as he summoned his Dark Magician. The Dark Magician managed to dispose of it with a Dark Magic attack. However, there was worse news, out of the seats came eight more Duel Monsters... After a bitter struggle, the Dark Magician managed to fight them off until they landed in Japan, the whole trip was fighting Duel Monsters but in the end, they were vanquished.
Breathing hard, Atem got off the plane in Domino City! "Looks like I was so busy fighting, I didn't land in an airport..." Walking, careful not to be seen out of the plane, Atem made his way back to Yugi's Grandpa's Gaming store...
