Honestly...she didn't knew were the hell she was now. Maybe she did a wrong turn or maybe she just got plain lost, the point was...that she was in the strangest of places. It looked like a city with the big majestic buildings and bridges but there was something odd about this city. No humans were around to be seen and the sky that had a strange orange coloration now had an even stranger color...it looked like a rainbow, a mix of neon colors that was enough to even make a Blue-Eyes White Dragon feel nauseating.
Sapphire could had easily find Kinasha just by sniffing her out, but her sense of smell got blocked thanks to the many new, strange aromas in the air. The dragoness sighed, feeling exhausted for traveling for so long, she has been flapping her wings nonstop for three hours and her energy was completely drained out...Time for a small rest.
Landing down, the White Dragon started to walk on all fours around the empty streets of the colorful city, the more she walked the more she noticed how simply bizarre this place was. There were some machines around the streets, probably cars she thought, but these cars were floating in mid air! Sweatdropping Sapphire turned around and headed to a small park to look for some pool of water to drink, getting closer to the small pond, she would had taken a drink...if it weren't for the golden color the water had and the telephones jumping out of it like fishes....
"Well...now I know that I had completely lost my mind..." she said taking a seat on the grass made of marshmallow "Silly, silly you're not crazy!" said a voice in the air that had the dragoness jump back to her feet alarmed, her eyes open up, deep blue orbs showing, she rapidly went into defensive "Who's there..." Sapphire growled, but the voice giggled "Who's there? You're there!" it said in a singing tone, but that just made the woman more furious "I'm serious!" she snapped with another growl and suddenly it all went silent in which it got the dragoness a little nervous "I'm hearing voices...yes I'm completely insane..." she said, closing her eyes, returning to their peaceful state.
Right in front of her a colorful hole appeared right in mid air and from it popped out a cartoony dragon's head. Sapphire gasped in surprise and fell to the ground on her behind, her claws digging on the marshmallow grass "Hi!!!" squeaked the little dragon as it came out from the hole, once it was free it floated around Sapphire. The dragoness stared at this creature oddly, it looked like a Blue-Eyes White Dragon but it had a more comical look, a cartoon dragon. Raising one of her hands that got all sticky from the marshmallow she waved hello at the little thing "Umm...hi there..."
"What's your name! What's your name!" said the little dragon jumping up and down happily, the woman shrugged "Well...i'm Sapphire, and you little guy? You're kind of strange looking..." "I'm Sapphire too! We're both Sapphire! Yay!!" the female toon dragon started to fly in circles around the larger one. The White Dragon placed a hand on her forehead trying to figure out what was going on, she looked at the little dragon "Um...were am I?" "You're in Toon Land! And I'm happy that there's a visitor! We barely get visitors around! Happy, happy, happy!!" squeaked the Toon Dragon with joy.
The older dragon blinked, she has heard about Toon Land...but just in books for children, she has never imagined that the place existed "I thought Toon Land was just a myth..." she said tilting her head to look at the other Sapphire. The little dragon giggled and poked the other's snout with her claw "This is a magical world were anything can happen! Only the people that know the art of traveling through different dimensions can come across Toon Land and also...they must have a secret password" whispered the little dragon at the other one, then she whispered again, Sapphire sweatdropped "Pudding?" "Yay! You said the password!" giggled the Toon dragon.
The happy little dragon then floated back a bit and looked down with sadness "But because of what has happened. It seemed this land can be reached by just about anyone and that is bad, bad" she said wagging a finger while she continued "You see everyone that comes across Toon Land gets to see what their happy side is like" the White Dragon placed a clawed finger under her chin "Happy side...?" she whispered.
"Yes silly, silly. Everyone has a happy side. I'm your happy side!" said the Toon dragon doing spins and twirls in the air "I'm happy, happy, happy!!" she squeaked with joy and then noticed that the normal dragon was a little confused "Is not that hard to understand. Toons are of course the joys of life, and the smile of others is what gives us life" "But wait a minute...you mentioned earlier that if anyone entered this place is really bad" said the female dragon, the little one nodded "Not everyone has a happy soul, if someone with a grumpy soul enters Toon Land a creature reflecting it's evil soul will be created and that could be a problem"
Big Sapphire looked a little worried, what in all the gods could happen if evil toons came out of this place? "Aww you don't need to worry Toon Land is not completely defenseless, the ones that live here protect it from everything! Also any evil Toon that is captured gets sent to the Evil Side" Sapphire watched were the little dragon was pointing her claw at...the other side of the city that was completely dark, with evil laughter could be hear and spooky glowing eyes could be seen, she sweatdropped. "And even if they try to escape I still catch them with this!"
Out of knowhere the Toon dragon took out a giant...spoon. The larger dragon couldn't help but to laugh lightly "That's an eating utensil you odd thing!" "Nooooo! This is the Golden Spoon of Doom! Is this lands sacred weapon!" said the little dragon hugging her weapon tightly. "There's also a few toons here that could help me...you should meet them!"
Taking hold of the bigger dragon's hand, little Sapphire pulled on it, she squeaked while the larger dragon chuckled and got up "I'm sorry little one...but I must be going. I'm on a mission in finding my daughter, I just came here by mistake and I came down to rest" Even if the Toon dragon was sad that Sapphire needed to go, she smiled widely anyway "Okay! Here's a deal! When you find your daughter bring her here! That way I can have a dragon friend to play with! And I bet her happiness is just as big as yours!" The other dragon nodded "Is a deal then and...do be careful with that Spoon of Death thing"
Chuckling lightly Sapphire stretched her wings and was quickly up at the sky. She was now feeling a little better now and who would had thought that a woman her age will still think that cartoons are real...
